I’ve got two pieces in a faculty art show at the Toronto Cartoonists Workshop. The show is located at 587 College street, at College and Clinton. Doors open at 7pm, and runs until 11pm. Head here for more information.

The two pieces are actually a slight departure for me. The two pieces are about 24″ x 36″, on a wood panel canvas, and are just black ink on wood. The effect is pretty stunning in person, I think. In any case, I’ll be posting photos of the pieces here after the show.

I am hopeful that you can make it out, if you’re thinking about going; it’ll be a worthwhile experience, I think.

I’m really pleased and excited to present to you my comics course, Manga Dojo! From concept to completion, the workshop guides you in the process of making comics. It’s home now is at the Miles Nadal JCC (located in the heart of downtown), and will be where I’ll be offering this course for the Fall-Spring season.

What’s got me going is the fact that instead of being able to offer the course for 7 weeks, I can now offer it for 24. That’s a whopping additional 63 hours of personal tutoring time with an experienced comic professional. Seriously, that’s a pretty good deal.
