A new year dawns…a new quest for greatness begins! Who will become this year’s Throwdown champion and take home the title??

NOTE: The theatre seats 700, so there’s plenty of space! Invite whomever you’d like! LET’S PACK THIS HOUSE.

Also: A costume contest with prizes; a video game tournament (limited to 8 badass contenders) and a double-bill of films! This year’s Throwdown promises to be a calvacade of EPIC PROPORTIONS!!! And all of this takes place on SATURDAY, JANUARY 29TH, 2011!!!!!

6:30 pm: QUARTERFINAL ROUND
The Competition begins! Who will make it past the quarter-finals??

7:00 pm ????
A DOOZY of a film. Full of martial arts, insanity, and ninjas!

9:00 pm: SEMIFINALS
The semifinal round in our Mortal Kombat Tournament!

9:15 pm: BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA
A John Carpenter Classic! When otherworldly spirits abduct two women of prophecy, who is there to answer the call? Cue Jack Burton, played by Kurt Russell. Together with his ally and gambling buddy Wang Chi, they journey through Chinatown to confront the sinister David Lo Pan; a 2000-year-old magician who mercilessly presides over an empire of spirits. A true treat for the senses!

11:30 pm: FINALS
Who walks away with the belt? Who wins the costume competition?? And who will take home the honor of being this year’s Throwdown Champion???
